Algarrobos House is located in Ecuador and was designed by architects Jose Maria Saez and Daniel Moreno Flores.
The user's connection to the site is generated by the project, is aimed at boosting the user's connection with reality (location, material, activity) through a basic formal and while construction reveals the origin of our process of thought.
The house consists of eight steel beams 18 meters, creating space in the house and are projected outward to seek a relationship with the environment. This structure works as a filter between the individual and the landscape, generating a large cantilevers toward a ravine.
This structure creates a second-order space through structural wooden frames created by repeated forming a skin. These pieces of wood are protected by layers of glass, and in many cases, these plans are moving, always providing a link with the outside by creating holes or transparent material.
